FIRSTLY CHIP SHORTAGE AND TOUGH COMPETITION FROM TATA MOTORS AND KIA MOTORS. SECONDLY, MS HASNT LAUNCHED ANY NEW PRODUCT, TATA MOTORS HAVE LAUNCHED NEXON EV, ALTROZ, SAFARI AND NOW THEY ARE LAUNCHING PUNCH.

This seems that people are shifting towards other cars...I think TATA is the one who is definitely giving competition to maruti cars....Tata Tiago ,Tata Tigor ,Tata Nexon ,Tata Harrier,Tata Altroz,Tata Safari......Among all these Tata Tiago And Tata Nexon and Tata Harrier created so much impact on the sales of maruti cars....we can see tata tiago and tata nexon everywhere....
also let you know Maruti declared to NSE &BSE that they are cutting 60% production in Sep-21 also moreover RC Bhargava declared 2 weeks back they want to be out of market till 2025 to launch 1st EV.

Maruti has stopped making diesel variants of many cars. And for all those commenting on built quality. Maruti wants to convert a two wheeler rider into a car owner that's why their quality is not that premium, car price is less. And it's no brainer that a person is more safer in alto than splendor.
